WALDWICK, NJ USA—March 18, 2014--The U.S. group at FIDAE 2014 is the largest since 2000, overflowing from Hall C into neighboring Hall B1. FIDAE takes place next week, March 25 through March 30, at Comorodo Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport in Santiago, Chile.

Nearly 90 firms make up the U.S. delegation with the Boeing Corporation, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Bell and Sikorsky, among the major presenters in the 3,600 sqm area.

“More than a third of the exhibitors in the U.S. Pavilion are new to the show,” said Gerri Cozic, Aerospace Program Director for Kallman Worldwide, the U.S. representative for FIDAE and organizer of the U.S. International Pavilion. “With so many SMEs and new exhibitors, visitors will not only see the products they’ve only read about, but they’ll also discover technologies they never even knew existed.”

Tom Kallman, president and CEO of Kallman Worldwide who has been managing the pavilion at the show since 1994 said, “This year we focused a great deal on the commercial aviation sector. LAN/TAM is one of the largest buyers in Latin America and we brought that message north to U.S. companies who are now here ready to meet and do business accordingly.”

Among the exhibitors: Boeing will be displaying a number of its own capabilities at its display in Hall C. Commercial models include the 737-8 MAX; 787-8 Dreamliner and 787-9 Dreamliner. Its defense models include the Chinook, ScanEagle, AH-6i and other products. Lockheed Martin is bringing the F-16 and C-130—and inside the pavilion, floor models of the C-130J, P-3, and T-50.

The new U.S. Ambassador to Chile, Michael Hammer, is expected to cut the ribbon on the U.S. Pavilion at the Opening Ceremony, scheduled for 11:15am on Tuesday, March 25th in the main aisle in Hall C. The show is certified by the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Kallman Worldwide is also providing logistics and coordination, for the first time, for the IATA Wings of Change International Aviation Summit, billed as the premier event for the commercial aviation industry in Latin America and the Caribbean.  The hundreds of attendees include airline CEOs, directors of civil aviation, airport directors and major industry executives from the region and abroad. Key agenda topics include passenger experience, aviation business environment, distribution and biofuels.

Visitors can search digitally and find U.S. International Pavilion exhibitors, products and services, receive alerts (and more) with a new U.S. Pavilion mobile app, accessible at www.myairshowguide.com.
